Greerton Amateur Swimming Club

Description

Greerton Swimming Club has been operating since 1958.

We are affiliated to Swimming Bay of Plenty and Swimming New Zealand and operate within their rules and regulations.

The club provides voluntary coaching to swimmers from Learn to swim to squad training ; once a week in the winter months and twice a week in the summer.

For those interested in coaching the club will support and assist and provide ongoing recognised training.

The club organises time trials for registered members.

Administration needs for Competitive swimmers involving meet entries and data processing are also carried out on a fully voluntary basis by committee members.

The club is responsible for managing swimming competitions and organising teams at Regional and National levels.

The club provides training and support for officials e.g. time keepers. Our affiliation to Swimming Bay of Plenty also provides access to further training for officials.
